David Duke

David joined Kian in February of 2018 and is primarily responsible for sourcing new platform investment opportunities, developing and managing relationships with new and existing sources of deal flow, and directing strategic marketing efforts.

David has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Kian Capital, he was the Director of Business Development at Edgewater Capital Partners where he led the firm's sourcing and development. Prior to Edgewater, David was a Managing Director at Cary Street Partners. Before Cary Street Partners, he was a Co-Founder of FD Capital Advisors, the investment banking affiliate of Frazier and Deeter, a top 100 CPA firm. He was previously a Principal at Headwaters MB (now Capstone Headwaters), was Vice President with Synovus Investment Banking, a subsidiary of Synovus Financial Corporation, and held various investment banking positions with several Atlanta-based boutique firms.

David earned a B.B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and an M.B.A. from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at University of Pittsburgh.
