Matt Levenson

Matt is a founding member of Kian and is active in all aspects of Kian's investment origination, structuring, diligence and portfolio monitoring efforts.

Matt has spent 17 years working with middle-market companies. Prior to Kian, Matt spent four years with Wells Fargo Securities and its predecessor, Wachovia Securities, where he worked with middle-market borrowers to originate and execute leveraged loan transactions in the firm's Leveraged Finance and Middle Market Capital groups. Prior to Wells Fargo, Matt was an Associate with Edgeview Partners (now Piper Jaffray), a leading middle-market M&A and strategic advisory firm. Matt began his career in Banc of America Securities’ Leveraged Finance group working with middle-market borrowers.  He has held Board positions at six lower middle market companies over the past eight years.

Matt earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
